The Sant’Anna School, Universities of Pisa, Firenze, and Siena “Industry 4.0” Master program allows graduates to develop their skills in digital business and industrial digitalization. Apply by 31 October 2018

The MSc “Industry 4.0 Design – Enterprise Digitalization and 4.0 Technologies” will provide training for digital analysts, consultants and innovators with new business models to fully leverage the changes and opportunities of digital technologies. Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will have the skills and knowledge to pursue a career as a Digitalization Manager. By joining the teaching and research experiences of Sant’Anna School, University of Pisa, University of Firenze,and University of Siena, this one-year program beginning on November 19, is supported by companies ErreQuadro s.r.l., Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini, Things On Internet s.r.l, Fabio Perini S.p.A. and IGLOM Italia S.p.A.. Through close collaboration with the industry partners, students will have the opportunity to work on a real business challenge and apply learned concepts to practice.

“Digitalization is changing the world. The Digitalization Manager - said Gualtiero Fantoni, scientific coordinator of the master’s program, would focus on the business areas that are crucial for success and growth. The Digitalization Manager will respond to the increasing industry need for consultants who combine digital and business management skills to plan the digital transformation and manage the digital innovation challenges”.

The program is designed to attract and educate 35 students with broad-ranging interests - from economics and management, engineering and science related fields. Applications will be accepted by 31 October 2018.

Lectures are available Monday through Wednesday at the GATE Centre in Pisa to create an interactive class experience and have students participate in activities that let them work directly with the digital companies. 

Registered professionals and interested individuals are permitted to audit the course. Upon fulfilment on the attendance requirements for the auditing mode, participants will be issued a certificate of attendance.

Students are required to participate in the course, including full attendance at lectures, seminars and case studies. Students who successfully complete the course are also requested to complete a 160 hours internship as part of the MSc degree requirements.
